You all know if you don't have a good ctr you won't get a lot of visiters to your site unless you pay way to much money. So your ctr has to as high as possible right?!
Well that's true but don't get to crazy with your ctr. Some times I see ads wich are very good optimised for a good ctr, but they have forgotten one thing. RELEVANCE!!
Goal nr. 1 is to sell your products as much as possible. Don't forget that! Make your ad is as relevant as possible to your product.
Example: You sell big passengerplanes, and you've made an ad like this:
- Airplanes
- Buy your airplanes online!
- Now 20% discount
Now someone is looking for an small plane with two passenger seats. He searches in google for "airplanes" and finds your ad in the list and clicks on it. When he gets on your website he finds that you ain't selling no small airplanes and leaves. There is no relevance in this ad so you will lose money on people who expected other things on your website.
I know this is a very stupid example but you will lose a lot of money with such ads!!
When I first started I did this too. I tried to find as many as possible keywords for my sites and a lot of them where irrelevant. I think many people forget keep their relevance
